The Apocalypse nightclub was not just any club. It was a unique blend of a club and a piano bar, divided by a glass wall. This innovative design allowed guests to see what was happening on the other side, attracting people of different ages and celebrities like Elizabeth Taylor, Frank Sinatra, and Prince, who visited the club directly from the airport before even checking in to his hotel.

The Birth of Olivia Valere Club

Olivia fell in love with Marbella in 1984 and decided to establish herself there. She opened Andalusia’s first Olivia Valère, a discotheque with a piano bar and live music in the Gray d’Albion at Puerto Banús on July 4, 1985. The club was an instant hit and remained packed for years.

The Present Club

The existing Olivia Valere Club was opened on July 25, 1997, constructed in a record 72 days with a hundred people working around the clock. The club was designed by Oscar de la Peña and Miguel Cancio, who also designed the Buddah Bar and Bar Fly in Paris.
